Overview.

Kingsdale has worked with eXceeding’s consultants for many years. They first engaged us after recognising that they lacked the necessary in-house experience to run a technology procurement process which had to meet the needs of multiple internal and external stakeholders, presented considerable technical complexities, and in some cases, was critical to the operation of the school.

Kingsdale turned to eXceeding to provide highly skilled and experienced procurement consultants to undertake the day-to-day management of the OJEU compliant tenders and, where required, either lead or assist in the delivery of project components.

As well as a full cost diagnostics programme, OJEU procurement projects have included creating and running tenders for the procurement of:

• iPad student platform roll out
• Modular Building
• EFA Replacement Roof
• Server & Network ITT

The solution.

Key services have included building planning applications, modular buildings, building refits, student iPad roll out, WIFI refresh, server and network replacement.
In all projects our primary responsibility was to run an OJEU compliant procurement, ensuring transparency and best value for money for Kingsdale. All projects followed the same approach:

1. Working with the Kingsdale SMEs to establish current and future state requirements, then recommending the most efficient OJEU compliant process.
2. Once the approach was agreed the eXceeding consultants worked with the Kingsdale team to develop tender documents and source suitable potential bidders.
3. The whole tender process was managed by the eXceeding team, which included drafting tender documents, OJEU advertisements, Q&A, evaluation, contractual reviews and award.
4. Kingsdale was secure in the knowledge that the process was OJUE compliant, delivering the required but optimum solution at the best value for money.

The future.

With the support of eXceeding’s consultants Kingsdale now have a number of new key suppliers/partners, delivering critical services to the school which ensure the best pupil outcomes and experiences.
