We are delighted to be able to confirm that Hayley Preedy joins us as Marketing Manager this month.

Most recently, Hayley has been working as a Business Development and Marketing Manager at Cranfield School of Management. During her time there she has focused on nurturing the client community through events, webinars, email marketing, content marketing and social media. She also set up a dedicated Knowledge Hub of content to help people navigate the pandemic and established a monthly newsletter to support the Associate Network.

Hayley is a seasoned creative marketing professional with 20 years’ experience across the marketing mix, in a variety of sectors. She has proven experience in strategic marketing planning, lead generation, content creation and project team leadership, whilst working closely with a broad range of senior stakeholders and sales teams.

When asked about Hayley joining, MD, Steve Rowland commented:

“As our procurement and consultancy team continues to grow and the business expands into the States, it was becoming apparent that we needed a senior Marketing Manager in house to oversee all of our marketing activities and to help to support our ambitious growth plans.

We instantly took to Hayley. She is driven, focused and extremely knowledgeable about B2B marketing. What really set Hayley apart from the other candidates, was her ability to combine her digital marketing knowledge with traditional marketing tactics. She is results-focused and she has demonstrable experience of running B2B marketing campaigns which have delivered an increase in lead generation and consequently sales… which is good news for all of us!

She will be working closely with our sales teams to enhance our customer experiences online and is already teaching us a lot about what we could be doing to better service our clients through great content and stronger channels of communication.

Please join us in welcoming Hayley to the team.”

We put Hayley on the spot and asked her some probing questions about work, life and gin… apparently!

What makes you most excited about the role at eXceeding, Hayley?

“Just the sheer scope of growth potential for eXceeding is so exciting! There are so many opportunities for me to get involved and make a difference to the existing marketing strategy. The procurement and consultancy world is a new area for me, but I am really eager to learn all about it and understand the benefits that eXceeding brings to its client base.”

What’s do you think are the biggest opportunities for a consultancy business like eXceeding, in marketing terms?

“I think that a focus on partnerships will really benefit eXceeding in the coming 12 months. Establishing clear growth marketing strategies with similar like-minded consultancies, such as our recent confirmed collaboration with ClearEdge Partners in the US, will benefit both parties and enable us to broaden our reach.”

Give us your top trend in marketing for 2021

“I think there will be an ongoing focus on Account Based Marketing (ABM) in 2021 with supported automation tools. If done correctly, it is a really effective way of cross-selling and upselling to your existing client base, build that all-important relationship and create an opportunity for referrals.”

Tell us a little about yourself?
“I live in Milton Keynes and am kept busy by two young sons and a young-at-heart husband. I really enjoy walking and volunteer for The Cinnamon Trust as a dog walker to make the most of the great outdoors on a weekly basis. I also have a monthly gin subscription; I don’t think I need to elaborate on that!”
